Normandy is one of the most visited regions in France. This is not a coincidence, as it has great historical riches, as well as a breathtaking natural beauty. With several cities, towns and villages with historical and interesting monuments, there are a lot of reasons to visit Normandy and to fall in love with this place.

If you want to breathe history, Caen is the right city! Practically destroyed during the II World War, today it is joyful and agitated, as it hosts lots of tourists and university students. Full of attractions, Caen has an imposing medieval castle from the 11th century, the Fine Arts Museum, the Normandy Museum and the Mémorial de Caen-Cité de l’Histoire pour la Paix.

Normandy also has the famous “D-Day Beaches”, where the allied troops landed in France, and that marked the beginning of the country’s comeback until their victory in the II World War, known as Operation Overlord.

There are other options, such as the famous Saint-Michel Mountain, the city of Giverny and the Monet Gardens – the house where the impressionist painter Claude Monet lived is open to the public (except in Winter). Besides the incredible beaches, we can also mention the Etretat Cliffs and the agitated city of Rouen. If you want to get to know the region well, it is important to take some days to enjoy, relax as well as you can, and to enjoy the local cuisine – which is certainly worth it. Below there are some accommodation options so that you can visit Normandy in unique properties!

Visit Normandy and get to know our accommodation options

LovelyStay currently manages four historical properties in Normandy. These are country houses, integrated in a beautiful complex, perfect to relax as a couple, family, and with friends. The houses vary from 1 to 5 bedrooms, and have every commodity for an unforgettable stay. Besides, until the end of February, the company will be managing a fifth house located in the same complex, which has 7 bedrooms and accommodates up to 14 people comfortably.

The complex has a great garden and a pool which is common to every property, but as it has a vast space, every house has lots of privacy and comfort. That being said, it is possible to book only one property or even all of them, including the organisation of events for about 40 people. Do you enjoy the idea?

Located in Biéville-Quétiéville, the properties are about 30 km from Caen, 110 from Ruen and, for those coming from Paris who want to enjoy a few days of rest, they are less than 3 hours away.
