Wonderland Lisbon
Probably the most famous Christmas market in Portugal! It’s located at the Parque Eduardo VII, and it has a lot of attractions for every age, including a ferris wheel and two ice rinks. Besides, it has a lot of stands with different food options and gifts for the entire family. The entrance is free and it is open until the 1st of January 2023.

Christmas Market at Rossio, Baixa and Chiado
Still in Lisbon, we can find Rossio Christmas Market, located at the Praça Dom Pedro V (Rossio). Although it is a much smaller market than Wonderland, there you can find several food options, mulled wine and stands with Christmas gifts. It’s open until the 21st of December.
Reino de Natal at Sintra
Very close to Lisbon, we can find another option to enjoy Christmas markets in Portugal. The Reino de Natal (Christmas Kingdom), located in Sintra, is the ideal place to visit with the family. The Parque da Liberdade, the Terreiro Rainha D. Amélia and the NewsMuseum will be the main stages for this year’s edition, which will count with rides on a Christmas train, a video mapping show and other fun activities, including the traditional Christmas market by the Palácio Nacional de Sintra. Porto Christmas Market
For those who are looking for a Christmas market in the city of Porto, this one, located at Praça da Batalha, is an excellent option. With more than 20 stands, this market is ideal for those who want to buy clothes, decorative articles and handicraft, books and toys. There are plenty of opportunities for you to find the ideal gift. The market also has lots of music and workshops. Don’t miss it! It’s open until the 24th of December.
Christmas Market at Palácio de Cristal
Another option for you to enjoy Christmas markets in Portugal is the one at the Palácio de Cristal, in Porto. Located in the Avenida das Tílias, this market takes place in one of the most beautiful and vibrant places in town. Bringing a new approach to the Christmas spirit, and being known as Christmas Design Market, there you can find several stands with sweets, drinks or gifts. The entrance is free and it’s open until the 19th of December – however, only from Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
