In October, the company will donate 1€ for each booking. The expectation is to raise more than 2000€.

LovelyStay, the leading company in the short-term rental market in the country, joined the Portuguese Association for the Support of Women with Breast Cancer (APAMCM) for a very important campaign to celebrate Pink October. In order to raise funds for the association, the company will donate 1 euro for each reservation that occurs during the month of October. The expectation is to try to raise more than 2000€.

In addition, LovelyStay will provide its owners, guests, and the general public with an online donation link to encourage people to make donations as well. All the amount collected will be donated to APAMCM and the goal is that everyone gets involved to get the highest amount possible. The campaign will run until October 31 and anyone can contribute with any amount.

“After two very difficult years for our industry and our company, our goal is to unite our guests, owners, and the general public in an initiative to give back to our community for the support that has been given to us. After a summer of recovery, Pink October marks the first opportunity we have had to do so and we hope it will serve as inspiration for other initiatives,” comments William Tonnard, CEO of LovelyStay.

LovelyStay, which has in its portfolio the management of over 400 properties totalizing more than 350 clients, has a wide audience that allows making a campaign of this nature feasible. After all, the network also expands to all the guests spread around the world. “Although this is our first campaign to raise funds for an association, we are confident that our entire network will help and collaborate with this very important initiative,” Tonnard concludes.

Donations can be made through the website “gofoundme.com”: https://bit.ly/3zEqV9v. Or, if you prefer, you can access the link directly in the company’s social networks. And for booking: https://bit.ly/3u9tijm.

The month of October is known for bringing several awareness campaigns whose main goal is to alert women and society about the importance of prevention and early diagnosis of breast cancer and, more recently, cervical cancer. The Pink October movement started in the 90’s in the United States and has spread all over the world.
